As your Ward 3 representative, Rod will work
hard to protect and enhance the security, stability
and quality of life in our neighborhoods by:
- Scrutinizing future budgets carefully
to protect essential city services
- Partnering with neighborhood associations
to promote better communication between
residents, City Hall, and the Police Department
- Building on his Planning Commission
experience in fostering Ward 3 businesses
such as Standard Printing and The Corner
Brewery; as well as Walgreen’s (on
Michigan Avenue) and American Photo
Studios (on the former Ave Maria site)
— both of which converted non-taxable
parcels into tax-paying, job-generating
commercial properties
